Solidarity with La ZAD from Philippine Archipelago autonomous spaces & infoshops
ZAD - Europe's largest post-capitalist protest camp - a kind of rural occupy on the eastern edge of Brittany, half an hour's drive from the city of Nantes.
Like a rebel constellation spread across 4000 acres of forest, farmland and marshes, it takes the form of old old squatted farms and fields, D.I.Y. straw bale houses, up-cycled sheds, theaters and bars cobbled from Industrial-pallets, hobbit like round houses, cute cabins built with the world's waste, huts perched frighteningly high in tress and a multitude of other disobedient architectural fantasies.
La ZAD has been a laboratory for ways of living despite capitalism since the 2009 French Climate Camp.
In Solidarity!

Malaysia: Solidarity with Khalid Ismath, imprisoned for criticizing the government on Facebook
via Wasiatpejuang:
SOLIDARITY UNTUK KHALID ISMATH DARI INDONESIA
Solidarity from Indonesia
Statement of PEMBEBASAN (Pusat Perjuangan Mahasiswa untuk Pembebasan Nasional—Center of Student Struggle for National Liberation).

Solidarity for Khalid Ismath and Democracy in Malaysia.
Free Khalid Ismath!
Enforce Democracy, Destroy Militarism!
Eliminate the Sedition Act!
To Liberation and Solidarity!
Democracy and capitalism will not be able to walk along because capitalism does not need democracy. For capitalism, democracy will only disrupt the process of capital accumulation, so, even if democracy must exist, then it must be limited, controlled, dwarfed—so it can do no harm to the capital accumulation process. That kind of democracy is always inherent in any capitalist power, anti-criticism and repressive.
It is also endemic in the constitutional monarchy in Malaysia. Efforts to shut the criticism down is done by using the legislation instruments. We know Khalid Ismeth, that since October 7, 2015 has been imprisoned by the police in Ayer Molek, Johor, Malaysia.
The arrest of Khalid Ismath is just because he wrote his criticism against the government and the Sultan in Malaysia on his facebook status. Khalid criticized over the arrest of Kamal Hisham Jaafar through social media. Kamal Hisham try to uncover the truth behind the Sultanate evil empire, and he had been in Singapore since hunted by the government (Sultanate of Johor).
That is where Khalid Ismath expressed his support for Kamal Hisham, while criticizing the Sultanate of Johor. Soon, Khalid was arrested by the police with two charges; violating the section 233 of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia (Section 233 Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Act 1998) and Sedition Act 1948 as he encourage others to join in solidarity. Although two days after the arrest Khalid were released, he has been arrested again with sedition act.
Next, Khalid was brought to the court on October 13, 2015 for trial. Johor Baru Sessions Court charged him with 11 counts under the section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and 3 counts under the Sedition Act 1948.
Repression and anti-democratic act as practiced by the Sultanate of Johor provide a conclusion that there is no democracy for the majority of the people. For Sultanate of Johor, the meaning of democracy is exactly the same as the capitalistic democracy, it never give space for the people.
Capitalism does not object to dictators and dictatorships while they are in conformity with the interests of the accumulated profits. In his book, State and Revolution, Lenin, one of the leaders of the Russian Revolution in 1917, said that democracy in capitalism is democratic to investors that its economic position is free from the control of the people. It is enough to give them a councils, without the right to fire the representatives of their own choosing; enough to give them the 'democratic' institutions as a representative functions for their aspirations, without the urge to directly engage and understand it. That artificial democracy was built to keep people from politics, because the politics that is desirable by the capitalist is politics that serve the interests of the investment and the capital accumulation. It consequences on the need of political stability that leave the process of capital accumulation undisrupted. The political stability that is desired by capitalism and capitalist government agencies is enforced through the instrument of legislation and mobilization (military repression). These character appears in capitalist government around the world. Also practiced by the Sultanate of Johor when responding to the criticism issued by Khalid Ismath, and probably also will befall to anyone who dares to criticize the Sultanate of Johor in Malaysia.
Democracy and political freedom is the key/way out of the problems of the people who have been credited by capitalism.
Moreover, if the government's structure is still using feudal instruments such as kingdom/empire, the developments of people's productive power capacity would be very disturbed, and they will never develop the democracy itself (people power).
The issue of democracy; The more intolerant, more refused to differences, the opposing side was left to destroy each other, ideological differences are considered dangerous. It does not matter that a thousands of lives annihilated, as long as its ideology/doctrine does not spread; short-sighted, parochial, abominable, and dwarfed. Adapted according to the logic of capital, so long as the democracy does not hurt investment.
Therefore, for the sake of democracy and solidarity of anti-imperialism-capitalism people , we from PEMBEBASAN, demands:
- Khalid Ismath NOT GUILTY, the Sultanate of Johor should RELEASE Khalid Ismath now.
- Eliminate the Sedition Act.
- Stop the repression and activist criminalization.
- Give democracy, political freedom and prosperity for all the people of Malaysia.
And to the social movement in Malaysia we call for:
Unite people with democratic and anti-imperialism-capitalism platform as a condition against the feudal power structure (the empire/kingdom) and capitalist government agencies. Unity of the people is the embryo of a council of the people (people's power) to determine the future of Malaysia—to break away from capitalism.
In solidarity and democracy,

Melbourne, Australia: Activists disrupt opening of Turkish government sponsored event
Melbourne, October 13th, 2015: Activists from Rojava Solidarity Australia disrupted the opening of a cultural event sponsored by the Turkish government. The event 'Sufi Music Ensemble & Whirling Dervishes Melbourne Show' was held at the Melbourne Town Hall and was sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkish Embassy in Canberra. Mid-way through a speech by a representative of the Turkish government, two activists made their way to the front of the stage and unfurled a banner that read: "STOP TURKISH STATE TERROR" and shouted slogans that included "Turkey supports ISIS", "Turkey is at war with it's own people", "Long live the Kurdish people" and "Who bombed Ankara" before being roughly ejected by security. Unfortunately video footage of the action was accidentally deleted during the scuffle with security. While the majority of the audience were hostile towards the action there was a smattering of applause from people who obviously approved of the action. Here is a statement from Rojava Solidarity Australia explaining the reasons behind their action:
STOP TURKISH STATE TERROR!
We have interrupted this event due to it being sponsored by the Turkish government. The Turkish government is currently waging a campaign of terror against the Kurdish and progressive left movements in Turkey.
This campaign has involved covert support for extremist Islamic organizations such as the so-called Islamic State; mass arrests and imprisonment of Kurdish and left-wing activists, community leaders and politicians; mass censorship and restrictions against social and news media; maintaining a military blockade that prevents humanitarian aid from reaching the Kurdish autonomous region of Rojava in Syria that is under constant attack by IS; the murder of prominent Kurdish and left-wing activists; launching airstrikes against Kurdish guerrillas in Iraq who have been one of the most effective fighting forces worldwide against IS; and most disturbing of all - facilitating terrorist attacks against peaceful and democratic protests.
The most recent of these attacks took place on the 10th of October in Ankara, Turkey's capital. At least 128 people were killed and hundreds more were injured when twin explosions hit a peace rally organized by the trade union movement. The Turkish state's immediate reaction following this horrific attack was to order it's security forces to deploy tear gas and water cannon against people rendering aid to the survivors and to implement a media blackout on reporting about the attack as well as blocking it's citizens from accessing Twitter and Facebook. The government then went on to make the outrageous claim that Kurdish or left-wing groups could have been behind the attack and to impose further restrictions on reporting or releasing information related to the attack.
The Australian government regularly makes grandiose announcements and engages in much media posturing regarding it's supposed involvement and commitment to the so-called 'War On Terror' - in particular the war against the Islamic State. However, the Australian government maintains normal relations with the Turkish state - a state that routinely terrorizes it's own population and covertly funds and arms the Islamic State, Al-Nusra Front and other violent Islamic fundamentalist groups that are currently terrorizing the people of Syria and Iraq. The Australian government also lists the PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) as a 'terrorist' organization at the behest of the Turkish government. It is widely recognized throughout the world that the PKK is currently one of the most effective fighting forces worldwide against the Islamic State. The PKK are also recognized worldwide for their heroic role in the rescue of thousands of Yazidi people from the Islamic State on Mt Sinjar in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The Australian government is demonstrating via it's actions that it's only real commitment to combating IS is to use them as a convenient specter on the domestic front in order to stifle dissent, increase surveillance of it's citizens and further restrict freedom of speech. By maintaining normal relations with the Turkish state, Australia is in fact aiding the Islamic State and other extremist fundamentalist terror groups - making a complete mockery of it's supposed commitment to the 'War On Terror.'
STOP THE TURKISH STATE'S WAR AGAINST IT'S OWN POPULATION!
END AUSTRALIAN COOPERATION WITH THE CRIMINAL ERDOGAN REGIME!
SOLIDARITY WITH THE KURDISH STRUGGLE AND THE PROGRESSIVE LEFT MOVEMENT IN TURKEY!

Finland: Call for International Solidarity with the 5 Anti-Nuclear Hunger Strikers
Anti-nuclear struggle continues in Pyhäjoki, Finland. The Hanhikivi anti-nuclear camp was almost evicted last week, 15th of September, but the cops left one person in a tree hut. Some people started a new camp just next to the construction site, in a cottage which had been a second base of the camp until now. Isolating the person in a tree led to hunger strike of 5 people.
Nuclear power company Fennovoima doesn’t allow activists to bring vital supplies to the person in the tree. He has been out of food since saturday 19th of September. In this situation he started a hunger strike demanding to get food, more warm clothes and other needed supplies Monday 21th. Four more people started a solidarity hunger strike with the same demands. Three of the support strikers are camping next to the Fennovoima office in Pyhäjoki centrum and one in Helsinki.
The order to deny all entry to the area is given by the Fennovoima’s construction manager Jouni Sipiläinen and the Oulu police head is loyal to their friend, despite the fact, that actually there doesn’t exist legal prohibition of trespassing at the area yet.
We, supporters of the hungerstrikers are really concerned especially about the condition of the person protesting in a treehut. The person has stayed there one week. The weather is cold, rainy and windy, situation in the area is very stressful because of big amount of private security guards, who don’t let supporters inside the area. Situation of the protester is hard.
We strongly ask you for solidarity actions and sharing of information! For example your local Finnish Embassy and Russian Embassy would be a good place to do protest and actions. Fennovoima company is partly owned by Finland state. Fennovoima has made plant supplier contracts with Rusatom Overseas, which is a subsidiary of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.

Greece: New text by anarchist prisoner & member of CCF-FAI, Olga Ekonomidu
The following text 'From the land of the forgotten against oblivion...' by anarchist prisoner and member of CCF-FAI, Olga Ekonomidu is a contribution to the imprisoned comrades in Chile: Tamara Sol and Natalia Collado. It is also a gesture in solidarity with Evi Statiri, held hostage by the Greek state, written in the context of the call for a national solidarity day on Semptember 2nd, 2015. Translation from Greek to English by Inter Arma.
Greece: “From the land of the forgotten against oblivion…” by Olga Ekonomidou
The captivity condition in which I find myself for 4,5 years now as a vindictive and exemplary punishment has created a distance between me and outside reality, action. Besides, the purpose of imprisonment for those who fight against the existent is separation, deprivation, political isolation, moral annihilation. But there are always bars to brake either you walk in the monotonous sterile corridors of a “penitentiary” or you cross the decorated streets of consumption of prison-society. Now, within the prison cells of democracy, my need for freedom continues to give breath to my each day. It’s my moving force, to think, to imagine, to organize, to act. The decision of total conflict with the existing, the power of individual choice enriched by collective action experiences, are the ingredients that can penetrate the prison bars and high walls. Why in prison you don’t give up… you go on. You reorganize yourself and you fight. For 4,5 years I wake up in a bed in prison always a little after sunrise, although many times I liked sleeping more when I was out, I organize my every move, although outside the spontaneous often moved me, I analyze and judge the data (political and personal) of yesterday’s day alone, although outside I always shared them with comrades. For 4,5 years I wake up every morning feeling sure that I alone defined my participation in the war against any form of authority and that freedom is not given away… you conquer it yourself.
January 2015… a plan about to materialize, to turn into something with flesh and bones. One step…. a breath before freedom…. And if the goal was not achieved… it was surely worth the try!
The attempted prison escape of CCF from our probable graves, confirmed that the struggle for freedom never stops while it sounded the alarm of the state apparatus. It made the damage it would inflict to both the validity and the reliability of the state visible, whether it was successful. So an escape plan, became the occasion for a whole repressive operation with revenge for the years our tenacious attitude and non-repentance as its sole purpose. The diffusion of fear in the part of the anarchist milieu that is in solidarity with political prisoners aiming their political isolation is not enough. For the first time in Greece and with such intensity, an enlarged perspective of the previous logic was applied. After authority saw that its “legal” or “irregular” judicial and legislative arms have not affected us until now, it crawled like an insidious reptile to bite Achilles heel. This time it targeted our relatives. The criminalization of family relations showed nothing but the clear vengeful intention of the state. To blackmail and emotionally destroy those who have hurt the prestige of its structures. The pursuit of new arrests and raids in homes resulted in two detentions. Of the mother of Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos and the wife of the latter. But as long as you give the enemy the easier he thinks will win. So the same day of these detentions began a grueling hunger strike by CCF which managed to pull the mother of the two comrades out of jail. In this hunger strike which lasted several days, anarchist Ageliki Spyropoulou who is accused for her political contribution to the escape attempt, was also involved from the start, from the cells of the counter-terrorism agency For two months she was hunted by the police dogs after choosing not to surrender, choosing the difficult but beautiful road of illegality. Until today, we share the same cell discussing, analyzing all those things that came to pass and all that will come from a common perspective, in a new perspective.
From the first days of January, CCF is under constant attack by separating four comrades from the general prison population, transferring them during the night in special isolation cells. This was followed by continuous searches in the cells of the basement, under the pretext of security or some tip. And if every time they find nothing criminally remarkable, the feeling of the dissatisfied hound in their eyes, indicates that they will soon come again. The prison visits for Christos and Gerasimos are informally cancelled since their mother’s terms of release do not allow her to leave the island she lives on, not even for medical reasons. With their their insistence they Evi (wife of Gerasimos Tsakalos) in jail for six months now.
The extension of Evi’s detention is of double significance for domination. On the one hand the strength of urban guerrillas and the tolerance of people in solidarity are tested and on the other it legitimizes the broader policy of criminalization of family relations. It is the psychological game of authority which, among other things, as a battering ram, invades consciences. It targets the minds of relatives in order to tire them, bring them down, make them frustrated and eventually objective, corrupting the trusted relationship we have with them, as they pay the cost of our own choices. And if in the path of every personal history, some comrades, friends or others remained and others left, is because it is easy to stand next to people when they succeed, but difficult to do so in hard times. But dominion hasn’t won this game. all those they’ve bet on the weakening of the emotional ties and their conversion, they have already lost. Why even six months after, our loved ones, either from within prison or from the restricted areas they are due to court orders, still give us smiles of patience and trust, maintaining their own dignity.
So the bet remains to us, every anarchist cell and individuality that promotes continuous attack and rebellion, to prove that there will be no truce with the enemy neither now nor ever. Particularly in times of repressive operations one does not step back, but instead reignites the attack outbreaks in order to become truly dangerous. To remain a threat as an internal enemy at the heart of the system. Because everything that rolls downhill, stops only when it finds an obstacle in front of it, otherwise it will continue to do so indefinitely by continuously increasing speed, carrying away anything of inferior proportions. It is a live bet, without end, but with continuity, evolution and one direction only… liberation, anarchy.
“I do not need, nor do I want your discipline. With regards to my experiences, I want to have them for myself. It is from them, and not from you, that I will draw my rules of conduct. I want to live my own life. Slaves and lackeys terrify me. I hate those who dominate, and those who let themselves be dominated sicken me. He who bends before the whip is worth no more than he who wields it. I love danger, and the unknown, the uncertain, seduces me. I’m filled with a desire for adventure, and I don’t give a damn for success. I hate your society of bureaucrats and administrators, millionaires and beggars. I don’t want to adapt to your hypocritical customs nor to your false courtesies. I want to live out my enthusiasms in the pure, fresh air of freedom. Your streets, drafted according to plan, torture my gaze, and your uniform buildings make the blood in my veins boil with impatience. And that’s enough for me. I’m going to follow my own path, according to my passions, changing myself ceaselessly, and I don’t want to be the same tomorrow as I am today. I stroll along and I don’t let my wings be clipped by the scissors of any one person. I share none of your moralism. I am going forth, eternally passionate and burning with the desire to give myself to the world, to the first real person that approaches me, to the ragged trousered traveler, but never to the grave and conceited wise-men who would regulate the length of my stride. Nor to the doctrinaire who would like to clutter my mind with formulas and rules. I am no intellectual; I am a human being — a woman who feels a great vibration within herself before the impulses of nature and amorous words. I hate every chain, every hindrance; I love to walk along, nude, letting my flesh be caressed by the rays of the voluptuous sun. And, oh, old man! I will care so very little when your society breaks into a thousand pieces and I can finally live my life.”

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Police raid anarchist space Rumah Api
Insurrection News received on 03.09.15:
On 28th August (Friday), over a dozen police with automatic weapons and K-9 unit attacked Rumah Api (social center/house project in Kuala Lumpur) during a concert on that night. The police raided the house project and raid everybody during the concert and also trashed the living space of people who live there without any warrant or solid reason for the raid.
We all believe the raid were conducted due to the connection of Bersih 4 Rally which happen on the next days (29 and 30th) which is totally insane since the organizer of the concert, participants, and Rumah Api have little interest to join or even support the rally, due to our political stance on the issue of election and voting system.
The state use Rumah Api as the scapegoat of recent event of attack on banks and multinational corporations in KL for the past 2 years. So far, they found nothing to link us with that events. The police seize all the musical equipment at the concert hall, seize 2 computers of people who live there, one smart phone, artwork, and books belonging to people who live there. The police said they search the building for any weapons or explosives that can link us to terrorism.
All 160 people who got arrested were remanded for 3 days. Among the arrestees, there are comrades from United States, Germany, Spain, Phillipines and Indonesia who attended the concert. According to the detainees, during the interrogation, the police ask about their participation with Rumah Api and what knowledge they had about Rumah Api and terrorism. They were given very little food or water and there are issues of mistreating the detainees, especially womyn detainees.
The police released all of the detainees on 31st August except two comrades, one from Manila and one from Bandung. The police mention that they still under detention due to the process of checking their status in Malaysia and because both comrades have records for entering this country without legal permit.
At the moment, they still held the computers and a smartphone until further notice to help their investigation. 2 comrades are now facing court charges of Section 143 of the Penal Code, Section (4)(1)(b) of the Sedition Act and Section 6 of the Selangor Entertainment and Places of Entertainment Enactment and are facing fines and prison sentence of 20 years.
We are asking for solidarity from all over the world to spread the news. This is a brutal tactic use by the state to clamp down on the movement. With current political and economic instability in this country, and also the uprising of the anti-government sentiments, they trying to put down any action or any lifestyle that doesn't go along with what they want.
On Rumah Api side, the gig that night titled is Party Tonight, Revolution Tomorrow is nothing more than just a normal Friday night gig with no intention to relate it with Bersih 4 rally. We at Rumah Api are critical of the popular struggle in Malaysia. Bersih 4 which is a demonstration for free and clean election is a so-called first world problem and it has a middle upper class agenda. Bersih 4 is being supported and joined by liberals and Islamists with their partisan politics that we are all against. We focus more on the grassroots level and are more interested to put our energy into strengthening our own and surrounding community. We see, by supporting Bersih 4 and it's agenda, we are on the wrong side of our struggle. In Malaysia, by changing the government, it will not make the problems goes away. Issues of xenophobia, homophobia, racism and religion are still the serious problems the politicians failed to address.
Now, people still gathering outside of Ampang Police Station to pressure them to release two of our comrades.
Never Surrender!

Switzerland: Attack against the Turkish Consulate General in Zurich
In the night of the 25.8. to the 26.8.2015, we attacked a car on the terrain of the Turkish general consulate at the Weinbergstrasse 65 in Zurich with an explosive device after the Turkish state launched a massive attack against progressive forces in the region with cover from the USA, NATO and the Barzani clan in Iraq in the past weeks. We are in solidarity with the struggle for a free Rojava and the struggle of the revolutionary movement in Turkey!
After a long period of a strategy of tension and the massacre in Suruc on July 20th (where more than 30 comrades from different political tendencies died and dozens were injured), the Turkish state has launched an open attack against the progressive movement. On the one hand, this represents continuity in the collaboration of the AKP with the “Islamic State” and in the struggle of the AKP against progressive forces. Since the city of Kobane on the Syrian-Turkish border was massively attacked by the “IS” in the fall of last year and the military contention around Kobane and the liberation of the city became international focal points for the revolutionary process, it has been shown time and time again how the Turkish state aids the gangs of “IS” while those fighting with the YPG/J are hindered. This was shown exemplary in the treatment of the wounded from Syria. While those supporting “IS” could be transported to Turkey withouth hindrance and didn’t have much to fear, fighters of the YPG/J had to be smuggled across the border and had to fear being arrested while in the hospital bed. Recently, six YPG/J fighters were even extradited to the Al-Nusra-Front by Turkey! Other examples are the refusal of a humanitarian corridor to Kobane for medicine or food, the documented shipments of weapons by the Turkish secret service MIT to the “IS” or the obvious acceptance of recruitment centres of the “IS” in Turkey. In this sense, the attack in Suruc on July 20th (while Kobane was attacked in parallel with car bombs) which was only possible with the support of the MIT and other security institutions of the Turkish state in this city was only the consistent continuation of AKP-politics against the movement.
On the other hand, this attack was of course also an escalation, a qualitative change in the attack against the revolutionary movement in the region. It wasn’t the first attack by “IS” against progressive forces in Turkey within the context of a strategy of tension (for example the bombs against events of the legal HDP or the sneaky attack against Kobane on June 25th from Turkish soil), but in it’s quality and goals targeting the solidarity explicitly, this attack was different to previous ones. This is also shown in the subsequent actions of the AKP government after this attack. The massacre of Suruc was the kick-off to a broad attack of the Turkish state against all revolutionary forces (prior to this attack, the state attacked the movement via “IS”, now it attacks openly).
This broad attack is presumably driven by (at least) two motivations. On the one hand, Erdogans speculates that in a climate of war and fear the AKP will gain the votes necessary to introduce a presidential system of their liking. On the other hand, it is certainly also the case that a chance was seen to try to halt the revolutionary process in the region. Beside the geo-strategisch importance of the region as it is, where it is in the interest of imperialist forces to have forces in power that favor them (like the Barzani clan in northern Iraq), the struggle for Kobane and then Rojava has reached a political dimension which must be a pain for those in power. Because the struggle there shows that a perspective is possible which stands outside of capitalist or imperial logic. It is important to not neglect this dimension when trying to evaluate the current situation.
In this sense, it is only consistent when the USA and the NATO approves of the airstrikes by Turkey against Qandil or the attacks by the police and military against cities and neighborhoods with a strong presence of revolutionary forces. Not only because they were allowed the use of the airfield Incirlik in Turkey, but also because it would fit their agenda if Rojava were governed by forces like the Barzani clan, who have proven in their history to be loyal to imperialist forces.
Despite or maybe even because of the growing complexity of the conflict in the region, the fundamentals shall not be forgotten. The movement in Rojava is an emancipatory moment with an incredible power, it is not the time to stand aside but to support this path in solidarity. The same is valid for the revolutionary forces in Turkey whose strengthening has been helped by the experiences in the struggle around Gezi-Park and now by the inspiration from Rojava. Confronted with the attacks against them by the Turkish state which also consist of executing militants, we must of course support them.
International solidarity is practical and not dependent on seasonal fluctuation but driven by the necessity of actions because of political reference points and principals. We don’t stand here today and there tomorrow, but at the side of the revolutionary forces fighting for a society with socialist elements. There exist different forms of international solidarity, one was the support of the defense of Kobane through massive pressure from the streets of Europe, others are the support of the military struggle (as in the context of the International Freedom Brigade) or in the reconstruction of the destroyed cities (as was the campaign targeted on July 20th in Suruc, carried by the federation of socialist youth groups and bringing together different forces). Finally it can be a contribution to push forward the revolutionary process here and connect it to the revolutionary process there to advance together.
Solidarity and power to all fighters for a free Rojava!
Solidarity and power to all fighting for a revolutionary perspective!
For a revolutionary perspective

Melbourne, Australia: Banner in Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners
Melbourne, Australia: In the early hours of Sunday, August 30th we attached a banner to a fence outside the Richmond railway station in inner-city Melbourne as a minimum expression of our participation in this year's International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners.
INSURGENT SOLIDARITY WITH ANARCHIST PRISONERS!
FIRE TO THE PRISONS AND THE SOCIETY THAT KEEPS BUILDING THEM!

Nothing is forgotten, nothing is left behind, the struggle continues as long as the enemy is here
The State and System have factually proven their role against anarchists, anti-authoritarians, fighting people, self-managed spaces and various parts of society.
Within the social war there are also losses. The times we are living now are tough. Disgusted by the social relations and the models which they reproduce, against every form of exploitation and authority we aim at the destruction of this rotten system, whether it’s “prospering”, or it’s in “crisis”.
We consider multiform action as an integral part of the revolutionary procedures. From the distribution of leaflets in the squares, the occupation of spaces, the self-organization in workplaces and neighbourhoods, up to militant protests, night-time raids and re-appropriations.
The words of our brothers and sisters in captivity, give us the strength to continue.
Nothing is forgotten, nothing is left behind, the war continues as long as the enemy is here.
And the journey continues with “losses” but also joys, with hardships but also pleasant surprises.
Therefore, ALL OR NOTHING…
Solidarity to those who fight for freedom and dignity inside and outside the prisons.
The destruction of all prisons is a pebble in the struggle for human dignity, and social and individual freedom.

Greece: poster about the cases of Evi Statiri, Athena Tsaklou & Nikos Romanos
"Reach what you cannot" - N. Kazantsakis
For four months the state has held Evi Statiri, the life companion of comrade G. Tsakalos in prison and has kept Athena Tsakalou, the mother of G. and C. Tsakalos isolated on the island of Salamina depriving her of the ability to have contact with her children.
These persecutions serve as the state's revenge for the war initiated by the members of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, a war that they continue to fight even from within prison walls where they still seek their freedom, preparing themselves for the destruction of their prison.
The comrades Aggeliki Spyropoulou and Christos Rodopoulous are in custody for the same case.
Meanwhile, the prison authorities have denied the educational leave that anarchist prisoner Nikos Romanos won with his hunger strike.
Several thousand kilometers away in Chile the comrades Nataly, Juan and Guillermo began a hunger strike to demand, among other things, the release of their comrade Enrique Guzman. They ended their hunger strike after the release of Enrique. But then four days later, the bastard prison authorities overturned their decision and returned the comrade to Santiago prison.
We for our part know that we cannot expect anything from our persecutors. Our solidarity with the unrepentant anarchists is continuous and aggressive and smashes down all forms of deprivation of liberty.
Until they are free we stand in complicity alongside the armed anarchist guerrillas.
Revenge or nothing.

Kathmandu, Nepal: Solidarity Action for the Comrades Murdered in Suruç
On 29 July, 2015, in solidarity with our many comrades and friends from around the globe, Kathmandu-based anarchists and activists instigated a graffiti action to highlight our outrage at the seemingly Turkish state-sanctioned mass murder of 32 people, including 3 of our anarchist brothers, Evrim Deniz Erol, Alper Sapan and Medali Barutçu, in Suruç (Pîrsus in Kurdish), on 20 June, 2015.
This affinity action was undertaken as both a response to the Turkish-based, Anarchist Initiative (Anarsi Inisiyatifi) call out for global solidarity in condemnation of the slaughter, and as a direct action approach to expressing our grief and rage at the brutal deaths of our allies.
The statement, “We are everywhere and we are watching you MIT! Solidarity with Suruc! Viva Rojava!” was spray painted on a high-visibility, main road wall in close vicinity of the Turkish Consulate in Kathmandu.
Participants who engaged in the action said:
“We are horrified and outraged by the attack on the 32 solidarity activists in Suruc, who were travelling en-route to Kobane to participate in the re-building of the canton. In the current international geo-political environment, we acknowledge the creation of the Rojava cantons as one of the most exciting, inspiring and successful processes of gender equitable, environmentally sustainable, autonomous community organising being implemented in the global context . As anarchists and activists, we recognise our responsibility and the inherent importance of extending our support and solidarity to our friends in Rojava (both those from the region and internationally), whose bravery and courage in creating a society based on principles of ethnic, gender, and cultural tolerance, inclusivity and participation, provide us with inspiration for strategies to enact meaningful social change in our own communities.
We strongly condemn the Turkish state for their ongoing campaign of repression against anarchists and activists in supporting Rojava, their attacks on the YPG/ YPJ, and their continuing brutality towards the Kurdish community. Subsequently, we demand to know the extent of MIT's involvement and collusion in this senseless attack. Our message to the Turkish state and it's National Intelligence Organisation, Millî İstihbarat Teşkilatı (MIT) is that we support any resistance strategies undertaken by our friends, allies and comrades in curbing your attempts to thwart and quash the Rojava revolution, those who support it, and those who are active in exposing your complicity in the subjugation of those opposed to, and subject to, your state imposed violence.”

Suruç Massacre: Solidarity from Melbourne
27.07.15: A solidarity action took place outside the Turkish consulate in Melbourne on Monday in response to Turkish state complicity in the Suruç Massacre and in response to the international call out made by Anarşi İnisiyatifi (Anarchy Initiative) who lost four of their comrades in the attack.
A group of about 20 mostly anarchist activists gathered outside the consulate at around 5PM with banners and signs condemning the massacre and the involvement of the Turkish state, there were also signs expressing support for the ongoing Rojava Revolution. Of the two large banners that were unfurled outside the consulate, one read: 'Solidarity With Suruç From Melbourne! Stop Turkish State Sponsored Terror!' while the other banner read: 'In Memory Of Evrim Deniz Erol, Alper Sapan and Medali Barutçu - Solidarity Is Our Weapon!'
There were two speeches made with the speakers expressing solidarity with the people of Suruç, the Kurdish struggle in Rojava and elsewhere in Kurdistan, condemning the Turkish state for their involvement in the Suruç massacre and for their recent airstrikes against the PKK as well as the shelling of YPG/J positions inside Rojava. Mention was also made of the brutal crackdown against the Kurdish movement and the Turkish left inside Turkish state controlled territories - a crackdown that has resulted in mass detentions and the extra-judicial killings of at least 3 young activists.
As expected there was the usual over the top presence of both state and Federal police officers who were stationed in front of the consulate doors and across the road from where the demonstration took place. A staffer from the consulate was also observed taking photographs of the action.
Solidarity With The People of Suruç!
Long Live The Memories of Evrim Deniz Erol, Alper Sapan, Medali Barutçu And All The Young Revolutionaries Who Died In The Suruç Massacre!
Long Live The Rojava Revolution And The Kurdish Resistance!
Increase The Pressure Against Turkish State Terror!
Suruç Massacre: A message from Sydney
28.07.15: With sadness and anger, people demonstrated at Turkish consulates in Sydney and Melbourne Australia yesterday 5pm to condemn the Turkish state’s complicity in the Suruc massacre and commemorate those fallen in the attack.
We stand with those fighting both the overt and covert state sponsored terrorism of the Turkish state, with Kurdish liberation fighters, and with all who are brave enough to resist in the face of such repression. Let it be known, as our banner read ‘We stand with Kobane’ and are inspired and strengthened here by the resistance over there, thank you.
In Sydney attempts by local police to intimidate us on social media, demanding forms be filled out to determine our protest ‘legitimate’ were ignored, supposedly justifying the heavy policing on the day. We do not recognise the authority of the white colonial state known as Australia.
Standing with the Aboriginal flag, we remind ourselves of the historical and ongoing state violence against First Nations people here. With its bloody and racist policies, we are disgusted by the hypocrisy of the so-called Australian state attempting to tell us what is ‘legitimate’ or not. Decolonise now- full sovereignty for Aboriginal communities! Kurdish liberation now!

Anarşi İnisiyatifi / Anarchy Initiative Call for Worldwide Solidarity Demonstrations Against the Turkish State July 26, 2015
Turkish-based anarchist group Anarşi İnisiyatifi (Anarchy Initiative) are calling on the global anarchist community to hold worldwide demonstrations outside Turkish consulates on July 26, 2015 at 7PM in response to the government of Turkey's complicity in the Suruç, Massacre. 32 young people were murdered in the suicide bombing committed by the so-called Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) including 2 anarchist comrades: Alper Sapan from Anarşi İnisiyatifi Eskişehir and Evrim Deniz Erol. The 32 comrades from various socialist, communist and anarchist youth groups were planning to cross the border from Turkey / North Kurdistan into Kobane in Rojava to deliver gifts for the war-affected children of the city and to participate in the reconstruction of war-ravaged Kobane.
"In 20 July 2015, (at least 32) people, some of our anarchist comrades, who went to Suruc for reconstruction of Kobane were killed by an ISIS suicide bomber. Turkish Republic still continues to support ISIS underhand. We will maintain our fight with all our strength to block all their paths.
Our call to the world anarchists:
26 July 2015, at 7PM for enlarging our anger and rebellion in front of consulates of Republic of Turkey where you live! In Solidarity with!
Anarchy Intitiative."

Rojava Solidarity Australia Statement On The Suruç Massacre
Rojava Solidarity Australia unequivocally condemn the cowardly and barbaric attack against the young people who were gathered in solidarity with Kobane that took place in Suruç on 20.07.15.
This callous, inhumane act that was committed against young activists who were preparing to cross the border into Kobane, Rojava in order to deliver gifts for war-affected children and to assist in the reconstruction of the war-ravaged city is nothing short of an atrocity carried out by enemies of humanity who falsely believe that they can crush the international Rojava solidarity movement via acts of terror and cowardice.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the many people who lost loved ones in this cowardly attack. Our thoughts are also with the many people who were injured and we wish them all swift recoveries.
Even though what took place was a horrific and terrible crime of the highest magnitude we take some degree of comfort in the knowledge that this despicable attack will not in any way alter the resolve of the international Rojava solidarity movement to continue actively supporting both the Rojava revolution and the reconstruction of Kobane.

The International Freedom Battalion of Rojava and participation from Greece
English translation of a statement issued in April 2015 by RUIS (Revolutionary Union for Internationalist Solidarity) from Greece declaring that they have joined the International Freedom Battalion of internationalist communist and anarchist volunteers who are defending the Rojava revolution.
The Revolutionary Union for Internationalist Solidarity is a formation for struggle with the aim to practice solidarity in the international field of armed conflicts on the the side of the classes of the oppressed who fight towards social liberation from the domination of states and of capital.
Solidarity in practice should bear characteristics of a common struggle at every critical point, a struggle which creates the world of revolution and which through its radical character, breaks the boundaries of tyranny, of oppression and of exploitation.
Specially, in responding to the call-out of MLKP for international solidarity we decided to take part with commitment to the necessities of the social struggle in Kurdistan.
We are there to offer our services to the struggle and to learn from the multi-faceted and resourceful living revolutionary process.
We recognize in this struggle:
-Its fundamental class character
-Its anti-fascist and anti-imperialist character
-Its social liberation character
Along with the multiform reinforcement of the revolutionary forces in Syria, Iraq, Turkey and the wider Middle East, the Revolutionary Union for Internationalist Solidarity aims to open up a path of solidarity from Greece, which will not only attempt to realize the vision of Internationalist Revolutionary Solidarity, but will also pursue the coordination and collaboration beyond the local boundaries.
Even though we have formulated our own political program towards libertarian communism, we recognize the fundamental value of a broad collectivization based on a broad range of conditions while at the same time each participant maintains their autonomy.

According to the Spanish mainstream press, National Court judge Eloy Velasco has released Paco and Martos, the two comrades from the International Brigade who fought for six months against Daesh / Islamic State in Rojava. The two comrades have been charged with membership of a 'terrorist organization' along with associated charges (see here) and have been released on conditional bail. Solidarity with Paco and Martos!
The Spanish state must drop the charges!

Spain: Two members of the International Brigade who fought in Rojava arrested

URGENT: 2 SPANISH MEMBERS OF INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE ARRESTED
During this morning, the repressive forces of the Spanish State are carrying out the arrest of the comrades who have been fighting the fascist forces of DAESH (Islamic State) in Rojava. Due to the lack of further information, we ask you for support, solidarity and spreading the message.
The homes of the comrades were searched by investigators of the Provincial Brigade Intelligence Office of the Madrid police. These comrades are two militants of the Partido Marxista-Leninista (Reconstrucción Comunista) that are accused by the police of appearing in this video. Police said that the two activists came into Syria via Turkey and Germany. They are accused of participating in an armed conflict outside Spain without the permission of the State, of collaborating with a terrorist organization (this is probably the PKK – Kurdish People’s Party being described here), use of military weapons and explosive devices, and of seriously undermining Spanish national interests. Reconstrucción Comunista is an organization composed of members of the Communist Youth who have broken with the Partido Comunista de España, PCE. Its founding members initially were active in this organisation before founding their own organization, close to the MLKP (Marksist-Leninist Komünist Partisi – Turkey) in 2009.
WE WANT THE SPANISH MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE WHO HAVE FOUGHT ISIS TO BE RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGES!
DEFENDING THE CIVIL POPULATION FROM ISIS TERRORIST ATTACKS CAN’T BE PERSECUTED!
FREEDOM FOR THE ANTIFASCIST COMBATANTS!
INTERNATIONALIST SOLIDARITY IS NOT A CRIME!
