Genoa, Italy: Sabotage Against Italsite Spa In Solidarity With Anarchist Prisoners
AGAINST THE DICTATORSHIP OF TECHNOLOGY
The present society is without doubt best described as a technocratic system where global science operates unrestrained and the products they put on the market dominate and govern life.
The multinational companies maintain their dominion over the planet via the States and their international institutions (UN, EU, IMF, ECB).
The hyper-technological society is the perfect accompaniment to meet two primary requirements of Power: profit and social control.
Thanks to the modern deities of science and technology, profit knows no limits with endless military contracts and an incredible amount of useless products continuously marketed.
Social control of life is now becoming more and more widespread as it evolves from simple surveillance cameras to the use of nanotechnology.
The people, already deprived of their autonomy and their own free wll are indoctrinated into this fabulous world of science via a partial and fictitious access to technology.
With the chimera of improving the quality of life the only real effects are unbridled production, the atrophying of people's minds and abilities, the cancellation of genuine emotions and finally life itself.
Meanwhile what remains of nature is devastated to build mega-projects to ensure the speedier travel of goods and faster access to information.
Meanwhile the general indifference continues as television transmits images of people massacred and starved to exploit the resources required to increase the production of consumer goods.
For once we decided to evade control and threaten the profits of the technocratic society.
We set fire to the power cables for a repeater owned by Italsite Spa, a company that specializes in the telecommunications sector in Italy and Europe.

Italy: Court confirms 6 year sentence for Davide Rosci
Italy, 07.06.15: The Supreme Court confirmed the conviction for the riots in Rome in October 2011 (see here) when an armored vehicle of the police officers was attacked and set on fire. Sentence of six years confirmed to Davide Rosci and other defendants from the city of Teramo, Cristian Quatraccioni and Mauro Gentile. The prosecution: destruction and looting (by italian old-fascist law). Appeals postponed the judgment to Marco Moscardelli. All have already served half of the sentence, Rosci has left home two weeks ago. To Rosci condemnation of First Instance to six years had been confirmed because he had not been recognized extenuating circumstances. The recognition of extenuating circumstances had reduced to 4 years and 8 months of the sentence to Quatraccioni Cristian, 33y/o, and 5 years for Marco Moscardelli, 33y/o.
On his Facebook profile, Rosci wrote
The Dante’s circle where I entered seems to be a dead-end. The Supreme Court of Cassation has confirmed for me, Mauro and Mirko penalties established by the Court of Appeals while Marco was canceled and postponed the sentence on Appeal. On this we celebrate. There is little to say, and unfortunately nothing to do so for the moment the only thing that is stopping to reflect on what was happened and to organized on what will be.
Soon the sentence will be final and the prospects are two: or go back inside in jail or find a stable job, for one like me who is released from prison, there are no certainly opportunities so I take advantage of this post in hopes of finding some kind soul who stumbles in reading these lines, to keep me this if you become aware of any use. I think I have given everything to the cause and I hope I can give so much more but for the moment I have to stay lucid and avoid becoming cannon fodder.
This will pass too…
Around 7pm Rosci was locked up back in prison in Castrogno.
Solidarity to all comrades hit for the October 15th!

Free Marco! International Days of Action for Marco Camenisch June 20-22
We are calling for international solidarity actions on June 20-22 for Marco Camenisch who has been continuously incarcerated in Italy and Switzerland since 1991. Marco is an unrepentant green-anarchist revolutionary who has a history of political activism dating back to the 1970s. He was first detained in Switzerland in 1980 for sabotaging an electricity pylon and a power station but managed to escape from custody in 1981. After years on the run he was arrested in 1991 in Italy at a security checkpoint. He remained imprisoned in Italy until 2002. He was convicted among other things for militant direct actions against high voltage power lines. After finishing his sentence in Italy he was then extradited to Switzerland to finish the remainder of his original sentence. He was also convicted and sentenced for the murder of a Swiss border guard in 2002. Marco has repeatedly maintained his innocence of this charge.
Over the past 24 years Marco has kept his political identity. He corresponds with many people around the world, participates in political initiatives and supports the revolutionary process both inside and outside prison. The authorities who are responsible for the decisions relating to Marco's imprisonment refuse to relax the conditions of his incarceration. Again and again they refuse any steps that would pave the way for his freedom by saying that he represents an 'ideology that promotes delinquency.' This argument is constantly repeated by the Zurich Office of Corrections to the courts whenever a decision is required for his case. In other words they will not release him because he is still a left-wing anarchist.
One factor in the debate surrounding Marco is definitely his political identity. The bourgeois state use long term prisoners in struggle like Marco as an example to deter others from political struggle in the same way that they use long term prisoners like Mumia Abu Jamal and Georges Ibrahim Abdallah - they refuse to release them because of their political identities.
There is however another factor relating specifically to Marco's case and that is the increasing role that forensic psychiatry plays in prisons. While the arguments for denying the release of other long term prisoners are clearly political (the case of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah for example), the Office of Corrections is now dressing the political attack against Marco with psychiatric terms. One thing is clear: A political identity is not something that can be negotiated psychiatrically. Being an anarchist is not a psychological problem!
In the most recent development in Marco's case, the High Court of Switzerland ordered the Office of Corrections to assess whether any relaxations of the terms of Marco's incarceration were possible. A major part of this assessment was a 'risk-oriented sanctions enforcement report' (ROS) that was conducted by a team of psychiatrists headed by Frank Urbaniok, further evidence of the huge role psychiatry now plays in prisons. As Marco rejects the psychiatric diagnosis of his political identity the 'experts' pronounced that it is too much of a risk to ease restrictions of his incarceration or to recommend him for parole.
The report states that because Marco still has firmly held political convictions and is still in regular contact with comrades and supporters outside prison that it was too much of a risk to ease his terms of incarceration or to recommend him for release. The report basically states that the only way Marco will be considered for release will be if he made a complete break from his comrades and support network and if he renounces his political ideology and repents for his past activities.
Marco's parole date of 2018 is fast approaching. Until then a review will be conducted each year by the Office of Corrections and it's psychiatrists to assess his possibility of parole. It is extremely likely that unless Marcos renounces his political identity that he will continue to be denied again and again.
We think that is important now more than ever to act in solidarity with Marco! Using diversity of tactics we can combine our struggle on the outside with Marco's struggle inside!

Bristol, UK: Solidarity banners for anarchist prisoner Emma Sheppard and others
Our greetings go out to Em, who just turned 34 behind bars after laying traps for police cars.
One banner read:
‘Happy Birthday to Anarchist Prisoner Emma Sheppard! – Down with all cages!’
We know what a boot looks like,
When seen from underneath,
We know the philosophy of boots…
When seen from underneath,
We know the philosophy of boots…
Soon we will invade like weeds,
Everywhere but slowly;
The captive plants will rebel
With us, fences will topple,
Brick walls will ripple and fall
Everywhere but slowly;
The captive plants will rebel
With us, fences will topple,
Brick walls will ripple and fall
There will be no more boots
Meanwhile we eat dirt
and sleep; we are waiting
under your feet.
Meanwhile we eat dirt
and sleep; we are waiting
under your feet.
When we say attack
You will hear nothing
At first
You will hear nothing
At first
- Margaret Atwood “Song of the Worms”
The other banner:
‘Capital is ‘Green’ as Nuclear is ‘Safe’ – Against Industrial Society – Hands Off Billy, Silvia, and Costas.’
In reference to 3 anarchist ecologists who the Italian state want to re-try over an unsuccessful action in Switzerland, and the capitalist marketing ploy of Bristol as the European Green Capital.
Both banners were hung over the M32 during the morning rush hour on Thursday 30th April.
Recently word has reached us of international police collaboration in the UK targeting action or publication groups allegedly connected to a thwarted plan to liberate guerrillas from dungeons in Greece. Solidarity to the underground who, from Scotland to Bristol to London, head out with hackles raised and spray-paint, rocks or slingshots in their pockets and blazing hearts never extinguished. A wink of complicity for those that defiantly acted for freedom and who got away.
State repression is a hurdle for any liberation tendency. Here in England anarchists, outlaws, and would be fighters with the Kurdish resistance to ISIS (see the case of Shilan Ozcelik) can all attest to that. We call attention to the common thirst for freedom in all these cases. May struggle continue in every form that is necessary. Regardless of the outcome of the election pantomime we are ungovernable.

Italy: Police harassment of the anarchist Lello Valitutti
A side-note from the noexpo demonstration on May Day in Milan.
According to the editors of the counter-info project Crocenera, Lello Valitutti, found himself isolated from the rest of his comrades at the tail-end of the demonstration. Lello was approached by two plainclothes cops who began hitting him in the end and making various threats against him (..."we know who you are," "we will pay a visit to you at home," etc etc) and inviting uniformed cops who were present to detain him which did not happen as Lello travels in a bulky wheelchair and as you could imagine this would have caused all kinds of logistical problems and also would have damaged the image of those who pretend to be the guardians of order.
Lello has been involved in anarchist struggle for many years (as far back as 1969 in Milan, in the hunger strikes and many years of incarceration he suffered for membership of Revolutionary Action as well as numerous arrests and experiences of struggle in Latin America) and has never been intimidated by the provocations of the police so he was not about to bow down to two plainclothes cops now.
Lello is far from being a victim however we still feel it is important to circulate this news and we invite anybody who has information about this incident or similar acts of repression to send it to us or circulate it...including photos...that way the faces of the pieces of shit can be memorized immediately.
