Chile: Incendiary attack against the Chilean Air Force by Fire & Consciousness cell (FAI-IRF)

In a political scenario of obvious decomposition of the traditional representative forces comes a  wide range of proposals seeking to reform the model of domination by constructing 'popular' ways to administer power, our choice continues to be a complete break from the world of authority as the only way out from the catastrophe of domination.

And with this break, direct attacks against the institutions and representatives of power continue to propagate the need for individual and collective revolt for the destruction of the existant social order as our search for freedom continues. 

Armed with these ideas transformed into a few grams of gunpowder, a few liters of gasoline and a trigger mechanism that allowed us time to make a safe exit, we launched an incendiary attack in the early hours of October 6th against the Chilean Air Force Personnel Command Religious Service building located on Cienfuegos street in central Santiago. This was carried out at such a time and with a small incendiary load in order to prevent passers-by being harmed as they are not the target of our attacks.

For reasons unknown to us, our device did not generate the damage we expected it to. However, when looking at the effectiveness of this action, the  planning, implementation and realization of it alone shows that anarchist attack is still possible - that power is vulnerable and not everything is under their control. 

The motivation for our action was not just impunity towards the repression that occurred during the dictatorship, but also the very existence of the Armed Forces itself that we struck as part of the continuous attack against all manifestations of the State (democratic, dictatorial, popular) and against all forms of domination.

With this action we continue the trajectory that was initiated by other revolutionaries who engaged in armed struggle against the impunity of the repressors that has been sustained by the  agreement between the current ruling elite and the agents of the dictatorship that ensured a peacefully negotiated transition towards democracy.

Once more we call on all enemies of oppression to contribute to the diffusion of attacks against power as part of the broad struggle of confrontation to regain our lives.

Rebellious actions and the fires of insurrection can materialize in many ways however we need to sharpen our discourse and our praxis so that simple acts connect with more forceful actions.

It is important that these actions are well planned but it is equally crucial to sharpen our awareness of our actions and their consequences.  The correspondence between types of discourse and types of action always calls for a break from the complacency that ensnares the struggle and to break from the idea of violence against oppressors being motivated purely by simple youthful adrenaline.

All actions contribute, but not all are the same.

Strengthening and deepening our ideas prevents situations such as the placing of a banner being claimed with guerrilla style language or incendiary / explosive actions being claimed with simplistic 'against everything and for nothing' type discourse.

Let's dispense with the vagueness and self-referential pompousness.

We did not invent gunpowder, in other words we are not super humans who are removed from reality. We are anti-authoritarian comrades conspiring in affinity and informality speaking with facts to call for the diffusion of attacks against power. We face not only the servants of authority who condemn acts of revolutionary violence but also those who minimize their inaction via critiques that make accusations of militaristic fetishism.

Anybody who believes that the attacks can be further enhanced, then get to work! We have already begun.

Chile: Coordinated incendiary attacks against telecommunications infrastructure by FAI-IRF

In the current context of recent state reforms that have resulted in increased sentences for the possession and use of incendiary devices and/or explosives, coupled with the many cases of imprisonments related to insurrectionist violence (bombings, burning of buses and incendiary actions by encapuchados outside universities), one might be made to think that there is no longer any space for offensive actions against Dominion and it's normality, the perfect excuse for those who have always found justifications for postponing their own revolt against the existent. 

However, the long history of revolts, rebellions and conspiracies shows us that the systems of domination have always been and always will be vulnerable, and that it is always possible to find space for revolt and direct attack against the structures, symbols, institutions and representatives of oppression.

But something else is also true, and this is that the vulnerability of Dominion only becomes evident when our acts of disobedience and our desires for freedom slip through the fissures in the dominant social order; striking it, wounding it, becoming uncontrollable and dangerous to their plans of domination.

That is why we are still here and why we will remain here, continuing to defy authority by spreading with our actions the idea that the insurgent rebellious will depends on acts of revolt that do not stop.

The relationships of authority, power and submission have expressed themselves throughout history and in the present via a multiplicity of practices, models and systems of domination.

Throughout the exploitation and dominion over nature and over human beings and other animals, each model of domination (patriarchy, caste system, industrial/financial/technological/capitalism etc) materializes by means of authoritarian relations between individuals sustained via interaction with a wide range of buildings, objects, goods, infrastructure and representatives such as politicians, businessmen, police officers, military men, journalists, scientists, lawyers and other servants of the powerful as well as drug traffickers, Johns, clergyman and so on who are able to do what they please in order to maintain their privileges largely due to the absence of insurgent activity combined with the apathy, fear and/or complacency of the civil and exploited masses.

Therefore every action that aims directly at the representatives of dominion and/or at it's industrial and technological infrastructure, although it may not in itself tear down the whole of dominion, still interrupts and obstructs the flow of information, goods and social relationships that enable the everyday continuance of the imposed order. 

It is the multiplication and proliferation of these types of actions that makes them a direct threat, something that only be achieved by breaking the lethargy and taking to the streets armed with our desire for freedom and a determination to leave concrete wounds in the network of domination.

How can we sit and watch the days go on and on without acting, without going on the offensive, without taking an active role in the struggle against domination?

For us this intolerable which is why opted for the risk of anarchy rather than living our lives removed from struggle waiting for future insurrectionist moments.

Because it is our actions in the present that are the only things that we have to demonstrate who we are and what we want.

Because it is in the polymorphic offensive action and the attack on the expressions of dominion where our present existence acquires real meaning.

On this occasion, united as groups with similar affinities, we coordinated our forces with a common objective.

Without annulling the particularities or the autonomy of each group, we freely agreed to act in a coordinated manner on the morning of Tuesday, August 25 by installing three incendiary devices with chemical delay mechanisms.

One of them was successfully installed in the underground wiring of the fiber optic network of Entel, the main telecommunications company in Chile. This attack was carried out in the center of the city of Santiago on Avenida Alameda.

The other two incendiary devices were installed within the structure of a cellular phone tower in the community of La Reina, at the intersection of Mariano Sanchez Fontecilla and Troncos Viejos. One of the devices was placed in the electrical feeder of the tower and the other was installed in its cables. Both devices were activated successfully at approximately 2AM, resulting in serious damage to the target.

We claim these coordinated actions as a minimum expression of experimental forms of attack that seek to hinder by means of sabotage the normal functioning and technological progress of the current system of domination. By building on the connections between our groups rather than the differences we are creating the possibilities of actions in the present, through trial and error, always cautious with our steps.

We know that we are not the first and that this has been a path forged with fire and gunpowder by other groups in this territory. There has already been more than 15 years of attacks by autonomous and anti-authoritarian groups in post-dictatorship Chile. 

We send greetings to all the comrades locked up inside the prisons of Chile and around the world, to all the groups of anarchistic action and to all cells of the Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front.

Greece: Incendiary attack against a SYRIZA office & a diplomatic vehicle by FAI-IRF

Combative Anarchy/FAI–IRF (Informal Anarchist Federation-International Revolutionary Front) takes responsibility for the incendiary attack against SYRIZA offices in Kypseli. We torched the offices of these politicians opportunists as a first response to the rejection of the educational leave of our comrade Nikos Romanos and the vindictive extension of the hostage situation of the wife of the comrade of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, Gerasimos Tsakalos. The world of authority is here. In the hands of  immigrants marked with numbers, in the summits of economists, the incessant propaganda of journalists, the ministries of the “left governance”, in courts, police stations, the villas of the rich. Anarchist insurrection does not aim to reform capitalism, nor stops the action depending on the political administrator of the machines of death and exploitation. The dawn of our time will come upon the ruins of capitalist society. Until then, the only thing left to us is the continuous and uncompromising anarchist struggle.

Santiago, Chile: Incendiary attack against a car company by FAI-IRF

During the night of Monday June 15 we attacked a car company located in the vicinity of the intersection of Vicuña Mackenna and Amerigo Vespucci avenues in La Florida by placing an incendiary device inside one of the cars that was for sale. The resulting fire caused partial damages to the car and the company. 

We carried out our action in the middle of the collective patriotic alienation that was generated by the party for the Chilean national soccer team, choosing our target in advance and scheduling it in a way that made it clear that we were not interested in a random attack that could harm people who had nothing to do with our action. We acted within a few meters from a police checkpoint, demonstrating that the police do not have everything under control and that an attack is always possible.

It wasn't just a new car that we attacked, an attack on something material was not the only goal of our action; the attack was also against the background that houses each of these machines that shares the same meaning and sense of the domination of society. It is the collections of merchandise displayed in glass cases and shelves, the accumulation of capital, unscrupulous human exploitation through wage labor, the devastation of land to plunder resources, the lust for ostentation and the nonsense of production - everything was attacked that night.

And the fact is that authority not only expresses itself through social relations but also lies materially in an endless number of buildings, institutions, companies and representatives who sustain the domination, which are identifiable and are therefore a target of our fire. 

While what characterizes the current civilization is it's capitalist and technological qualities, our struggle is against  domination in and of itself and not just against some of it's expressions throughout history. It is the oppositional negation of the world of authority, power and it's merchandise that we are looking to find affinity with.

Among the sea of people who inhabit the metropolis of capital we organize as individuals  seeking to collectivize our desires for freedom in the attack against dominion, deepening our friendship and complicity through horizontal relationships that are antagonistic to the ones imposed by those in power, giving via praxis full meaning to the concept of CONSPIRACY, without leaders, without experts or specialists, without vanguards or platforms.

So we launched the attack as an autonomous action, which is the expression of our existential liberation in the here and now, simultaneously influencing both the environment and the reality that we are a part of. 

Assuming that there are no preconditions, we do not believe in the hopeless eternal waiting for the correct social or material conditions or the masses.

We live an existence of total combat, in each of it's infinite possibilities, without being determined by conditions that we cannot decide, like that of class, ethnicity or gender. Our decision making capacity is the only thing that we have left in this society that seeks to be a panopticon of behavior, where control is intended to be absolute and spontaneity of life is exhausted and faded under the punishment of /  the vigilant.

The decision to rebel is what binds us with those that are responsible for destroying their own chains, ignoring the cries / and resisting the onslaught of power to go on the attack looking for the disaster of the authoritarian reality that limits the possibility of a free life. That decision is where the wink of complicity and comradeship begins with all those individuals who act continuously and relentlessly, raising their heads with hearts swelling to stand up and assault with dignity that which robs us of life.

We salute our accomplices in this Black June agitation for the liberation of the Earth, the long term prisoners and our comrade Marco Camenisch.

MEMORY IS OUR WEAPON

It was the dawn of May 22, 2009, when an explosion in Santiago, Chile caused fragments which crossed endless kilometers and borders until they brought us the news that were nailed in our hearts.

It was the dawn of May 22, 2009 when our brother and comrade Mauricio Morales, consistent fighter of the anarchist insurrection, put his conspiratorial plan in place, heading to the school of prison guards in Santiago in order to blow it up. But fate played an ugly game that day. The bomb our brother was carrying exploded prematurely resulting in him falling dead, just before achieving his goal.

The news that a brother of ours fell in the middle of a planned conspiracy, a planned act of anarchist attack against one of the most hated institutions of power, against those who are trained in how to systematically and sadistically strangle freedom, caused an avalanche of emotions within us.

We who have felt the breath of death behind us, in a bag on our backs and heading to our target, always with the same anxiety that perhaps we won’t return to our comrades, our friends, our loved ones, always with the thought that maybe this is the last time we cross the path of insurrection, accepted this news overwhelmed.

Immediately we felt Mauricio to be one of us. Our own brother in ideas but also in Actions. We felt a strong sense of affinity and a strong blood bond uniting us. It was as Mauricio was always with us, beside us in the conspiratorial attacks we were weaving against domination.

The initial sorrow was soon turned into rage, into thirst for revenge for our lost brother. We looked at each other in the eyes and gave a silent promise that we will never forget. That Mauricio will always be next to us because he lives within us and through us he will be present in every action and every attack against Authority. Six years later, the same emotions are welling within us, when we think of that day.

 As anarchists we have no martyrs. But we have wonderful brothers and sisters like Mauricio who married life with the beauty of anarchist insurrection ultimately paying the cost with their own lives. Mauricio gave his life once fighting to live the fiery dream of insurrection spitting death in the face while most people of this world worship death daily, strangling their lives in the nightmare of endless conventions and resignations by themselves. Self-imprisoned in their illusion of life, they breathe death, misery and subjugation. Because they fail to understand that life is not just about existing, about surviving as an indifferent inhabitant of the deserted land of the living dead shadows, but about constantly moving, being passionate, enjoying the concentrated and intense feelings and the excitement of rebellion, fighting, not being satisfied with stagnation, inactivity, with the wretched mediocrity of a quiet life, but about constantly seeking the unsatisfied. It’s about not resting on. Honor your negations and even more dare to materialize your desires no matter the cost.

Mauricio, a known denier of the existent, chose to live such a life. He chose to pick the beautiful, invigorating and fully intensive path of anarchist insurrection, away from the subdued and the peaceful ones, away from those who always mind their own business and care about nothing unless the sky crushes them. And we answer to all those who may dare to talk about “poor young men” that ten whole lives are not even worth a day of the insurrectionist and authentic life of our brother.

Memory is not just pages in history books. Memory is the force that steels our will so that we continue fighting. It’s the thrust that pushes us never to retreat. Memory sharpens our hatred and arms our revenge. Memory is the land where we meet with those we lost, those we never met, those we would like on our side in the battle, a battle that as long as it continues, our brothers will live inside thousands of conspiracies planned everywhere around the world, through acts of vandalism and arson, executions, prison escape plans and they will never be left to the oblivion of time. Because memory is the thread that connects all anarchists of Praxis, of the Black International and of FAI/IRF who dedicate their fires and explosions to our missing brothers and sisters with one promise:

Italy: Reduced sentences for Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai

In early May, the Supreme Court decided to reduce the sentences of comrades Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai, who have been sentenced for the shooting of the manager of the nuclear company Ansaldo Nucleare, Roberto Adinolfi.

The final sentences are:

Alfredo Cospito: 9 years, 5 months and 10 days (from 10 years and 8 months)

Nicola Gai: 8 years, 8 months, 20 days (from 9 years and 4 months)

Chile: FAI-IRF claim incendiary attack against a Chilectra substation in Santiago

An Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) - International Revolutionary Front (IRF) cell based in Chile calling itself Grupo Kapibara have released a communique claiming responsibility for an incendiary attack against a substation of the electricity provider Chilectra in Santiago on 06.05.15.

According to the communique a timed incendiary device containing 1.2 liters of gasoline and 400 grams of polystyrene was placed in a room inside the substation. The timing mechanism was set to activate half an hour after placement of the device but for unknown reasons activation did not occur until several hours later.

The communique states that the action was carried out in order to strike a destructive blow against the techno-industrial system in defense of Mother Earth. The communique also contains expressions of solidarity with the anarchist nihilist prisoner Spyros Mandylas held captive in Greece, the comrades Nataly, Juan and Guillermo on hunger strike in Chile and the comrades Sol, Tato and Javier, also imprisoned in Chile. Mention is also made of fallen anarchist Punky Mauri who died in 2009 while attempting to place a bomb at the prison warden's school in Santiago, Chile.
